The Recruiter will support the recruiting goals of two or more branches in a given district. This includes working closely with all levels of Management and Professional Brands personnel to seek out sales opportunities and coordinate direct hire placement of skilled candidates in these positions. This person is responsible for:

1) Delivering high quality service to customers and candidates by matching skills of workers to customer needs

2) Developing and retaining business by providing outstanding customer service

3) Performing a variety of administrative tasks that support the overall mission of quality performance and service.


  • Assist in the development and implementation of a business development program of personal sales calls, telephone sales, direct mail, office administration and public relations within assigned geographic territory
  • Participate in customer development activities within the office, including face-to-face customer contact to create and develop a good business relationship with existing and inactive customers and retain and build additional revenues
  • Obtain detailed assignment information from customers and utilize it to provide effective customer service
  • Recruit direct hire employees to form a pool of applicants for high demand skill areas
  • Interview and assess applicants using the Performance Selection System to evaluate their qualifications for assignments
  • Fill customer work orders with qualified candidates
  • Troubleshoot to resolve the problems or complaints of customers and direct hires
  • Present e-solutions, assessments and training programs to customers in order to secure or maintain their business
  • Present Direct Hire, On-site, Vendor Management and Payroll consulting services to appropriate customers in order to secure or maintain their business
  • Answer telephone to provide desired information for customers and candidates
  • Maintain customer and direct hire employee records to ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Follow company policies and procedures for all staffing and customer activity
  • Complete company reports to log the week's sales/service activities
  • Assist with and direct the activities of other office staff as needed and at the discretion of all levels of Management
  • All other duties that may arise to ensure successful operation of the company


  • High School Diploma or equivalency in work experience or education required
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in high volume recruiting, preferably in the staffing industry
  • Previous experience in sales, human resources, or a service industry required, successful prior experience as a recruiter is preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet
  • Ability to make competent use of work-related equipment and materials
  • Ability to remember information (e.g., policies, procedures) or locate resources to find information as needed
  • Ability to travel to various locations (e.g., customer sites, other company offices) as needed
  • Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with others
  • Ability to work with other team members as well as independently
  • Cooperative, team-oriented, patient, calm under pressure
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service to all clients (customers and employees)
  • Ability to advise, counsel, guide and influence the opinions and decisions of others (e.g. customers and employees)
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate people, data and things to determine courses of action
  • Ability to demonstrate success working in a fast-paced, highly competitive, deadline-oriented environment
  • Self-motivated with exhibited sense of urgency in all sales and service-related activity
