The Branch
Manager (Sales) is a hunter, an entrepreneurial-minded able to
perform/succeed in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment and possesses
exceptional customer service & leadership skills. This person is expected
to cold call and prospect clients, to build relationships with the clients and
to effectively manage a team. We are looking for a leader that wants to make an
impact on our company but also wants to grow.
PRIMARY
FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Will work as a Staffing
Specialist for 2-4 weeks to understand our processes, the business and the
client before stepping into this role.
- Provide overall supervision and
counsel to branch office staff; conduct and lead weekly status meetings to
discuss company strategies, objectives and results
- Conduct service calls to ensure
quality customer service; conduct outside sales calls to obtain new
business partnerships and customers
- Present customers with additional
Surge products and services to increase satisfaction and maintain business
partnerships
- Implement and manage detailed marketing
programs for sales calls, direct mail, in-office demonstrations and public
relations for assigned branch
- Nurture strong business
partnerships by providing exceptional customer service skills and
implementing customer development & retention strategies
- Cultivate and monitor activities
designed to recruit, train and retain temporary associates needed to fill
all available assignments; coach and counsel temporary associates to
ensure quality performance and job satisfaction
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems
or complaints of temporary associates, as well as, customers and other
personnel
- Review all financial and general
management reports; implement bill/pay structure to ensure a proper gross
profit level
- Process and assist with claims as
directed by the Unemployment and Workers’ Compensation Departments
QUALIFICATIONS
& REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
work experience/education required
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience
in a supervisory or leadership role; staffing industry experience strongly
preferred
- Previous experience in sales,
human resources, or a service industry recommended
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word,
Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet
- Ability to travel to various
locations and customer sites as needed; reliable transportation a must
- Ability to work effectively and
efficiently independently as well as in a group setting
- Sales-minded, team-oriented and
exceptionally calm under pressure
- Proven functionality and success
in a fast-paced, highly competitive, deadline-oriented working environment
- Self-motivated with exhibited
sense of urgency in all sales and service related activity
- Exceptional communication,
presentation, follow-up, negotiation, and closing skills
