  • Operate material-shaping devices to build fixtures and create dies
  • Read and understand blueprints
  • Design work aids for the fabrication of parts
  • Install and dismantle molds, jigs, tools, and fixtures
  • Troubleshoot dies and molds
  • Perform repairs
  • Fill or grind metal for a smooth finish
  • Inspect completed tools and dies for quality and specifications
  • Ensure quality through routine testing on all equipment and tools
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Comply with health and safety regulations and always wear protective gear

Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred but not required
  • Tool and die maker certification
  • Experience with calipers, micrometers, scales, and height gauges
  • CAD program knowledge is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
