Job Details:

• First shift, Monday - Friday
• 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Responsibilities:

• Ensure concrete forms are accurately constructed and can hold the precise amount of cement
• Use shovels, floats, rakes, and power/hand tools or screeds to smooth, level, and spread concrete
• Use forms to shape concrete and hold it until it is set
• Operate a vibrating machine to fill air pockets
• Monitor how elements affect the curing of concrete during the building process
• Assist the cement truck driver to ensure material is poured into the correct area
• Comply with health and safety regulations and always wear protective gear
• Previous cement mason experience is preferred
• Journeyman-level knowledge of mixing, pouring, finishing, and selecting a concrete
• Ability to work in various weather and temperature conditions
• Engage in bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling
