Job Details:

  • 3rd shift, Monday - Friday
  • 7:00 pm - 7:00 am

  • Measure and cut the insulation to cover surfaces
  • Use tape measures, handsaws, knives, and scissors
  • Work with carpet, vinyl, or other flexible materials
  • Remove or seal off old asbestos insulation
  • Fit and shape insulation around obstructions
  • Determine amount/types of insulation needed and install based on location and surface shape
  • Protect insulation from conditions or physical damage by installing sheet metal around pipes
  • Use appropriate insulation including fiberglass, Styrofoam, or cork
  • Read blueprints and manuals to establish project specifications
  • Comply with safety protocols and always wear protective gear

Position Requirements:

  • Previous insulation experience and/or education is required
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Required to stand for long periods
  • Must be able to work in various weather conditions
  • May engage in frequent bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Great attendance and punctual
