  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Scan items to produce a total for customer purchases
  • Process return transactions
  • Stay updated on price changes, sales, discounts, and promotions
  • Redeem coupons or input the correct price on the register
  • Balance register by routinely counting cash
  • Accept payments of cash, charge, or check if necessary
  • Depending on the payment method, calculate and return change
  • Request additional change when the register is low
  • Answer customer questions and listen to feedback
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment
  • Follow policies and procedures

Position Requirements:

  • Basic math skills to calculate sales and change quickly
  • Accountable and accurate
  • Previous Customer Service experience is a plus
  • Enjoy helping others
  • Required to stand for long periods
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills
