Cutting & Slicing Machine Operator

Job Details:

• Second shift, Monday - Friday
• 4:00 pm - 12:30 am

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, test, sort, sample or weigh raw materials or processed, machined, fabricated or assembled parts or products for defects, wear and deviations from specifications
• May use precision measuring instruments, complex testing equipment, x-ray machines, or basic hand tools to lightly fix deviations
• Can also be used for inventory positions
• Pack product on the production line with speed and accuracy
• Ensure that production guidelines and standards are continually met
• Seal, tape, and label each package
• Load, stack, or pile products into containers to prepare for shipment
• Inspect products for quality and damages and report discrepancies to management
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Complete forms and paperwork that track measurement, weight, and count
• Always wear protective gear and comply with health and safety regulations

Position Requirements:

• Required to stand for long periods
• May engage in frequent bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Great attendance and punctual
