RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take emergency and non-emergency calls in a timely manner
• Dispatch drivers, work crews, vehicles, or equipment to designated locations
• Clearly record significant information
• Effectively communicate with the caller and the dispatch team
• Provide solutions or convey information to resolve issues and complete requests
• Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance
• Monitor route and status of dispatched units
• Utilize basic computer and headset equipment
• Provide updates regarding orders, traffic, obstacles, etc.
• Enter and update data into the computer system

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Previous dispatch experience preferred
• Customer service experience
• Must pass and maintain all pre-and post-employment tests, certifications, and training 
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Work in a fast-paced environment with precision
• Tech-savvy 
• Knowledge of protocols and guidelines for emergency circumstances
• Sound judgment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to remain calm and assist others during rapidly changing circumstances
