Responsibilities:

Operate machinery including tractors, irrigation equipment, harvesters, etc.
Provide excellent customer service to clients regarding orders and deliveries
Dig and plant seeds or transplant seedlings into soil
Clear out and maintain irrigation ditches
Inspect equipment for functionality and call for repairs when needed
Harvest crops and uphold quality standards
Apply chemical solutions to crops to ward off pests
Package and load crop for shipment
Complete records that include crop, pesticides, yield, and cost
Comply with health and safety regulations and wear protective gear

Position Requirements:

Knowledge of crop cycle and harvesting methods
Previous experience as a farmworker is a plus
Ability to stand for long periods
Will engage in bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling
Ability to work in various weather and temperature conditions
Great attendance and punctual
Ability to meet deadlines
