RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up and adjust machine by pushing buttons, adjusting rollers, moving belts, apply mat, set stacker and prefeeder
• Pump glue into machine and adjust roller for the right coverage
• Fluff labels and set label feeder. Load labels onto machine
• Input orders and monitor order throughout run
• Conduct systemic quality check by measuring board and labels according to label spec’s and plant card
• Input information into computer and complete paperwork
• Clean machine
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping
• Responsible for product safety and quality
• Additional duties may be assigned by management

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
• Prior work experience in manufacturing industry
• Able to read and follow instructions on factory masters
• Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy
• Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume and rate
• Able to apply concepts of high school math
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
• May need to stand for long periods
• Will engage in frequent bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with precision
• Safety-focused
• Reliable and punctual
