Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to support warehouse and logistics operations. This role is responsible for preparing shipments, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring products are shipped safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, and ship outgoing orders accurately
• Print and apply shipping labels and documentation
• Ensure proper packaging to prevent damage during transit
• Maintain accurate shipping records using computer systems
• Follow shipping instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet deadlines
• Assist with process improvements and team initiatives
• Work overtime as needed to support business demands

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read, follow instructions, and work independently

Preferred:

• Previous warehouse or shipping experience
• Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience with scanners or inventory systems

Skills & Abilities

• Strong attention to detail
• Good organizational skills
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, etc.)
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs occasionally
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
• Ability to work in a physically active environment

Work Environment

• Warehouse setting with exposure to noise and moving equipment
• Required use of PPE (steel toe boots, safety glasses, hearing protection)
