Job Description

We are seeking a dependable Machine Operator to support packaging operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for operating packaging equipment, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring production goals are met safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor packaging and production equipment
• Perform equipment setups, changeovers, and minor adjustments
• Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
• Package products to required specifications, including weight and labeling
• Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety standards are followed
• Inspect packaging materials and report quality issues
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and minor repairs as assigned
• Keep work areas and equipment clean and sanitary
• Support and assist packing team members
• Identify and separate product requiring rework
• Communicate daily production needs with supervisors
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Reliable attendance and ability to work scheduled shift

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequent bending, lifting, reaching, and climbing
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs repeatedly
• Comfortable working around machinery and moving equipment

Work Environment

• Manufacturing/production setting
• Work near moving mechanical parts and machinery
• PPE required (safety glasses, gloves)
