Job Description:

• Politely greet guests as they enter and add them to a waiting list if necessary
• Offer accurate wait times and carefully monitor the waitlist
• Provide menus and answer any initial questions the guests might have
• Lead guests to tables or waiting areas
• With table rotation in mind, assign guests to seats they prefer while ensuring servers receive the correct number of customers
• Coordinate with wait staff
• Periodically engage with customers to check if they are satisfied with the food and service
• Assist in resolving any issues that arise
• Take reservations and answer questions over the phone
• Remain updated on promotions, discounts, shortages, and updates to provide the most accurate information
• Help in other areas as needed

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Provide top-notch customer service
• Previous experience in customer service or the restaurant industry is a plus
• Positive attitude and customer-focused
• Problem solver
• Able to stand for long periods
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills
• Follow written and verbal instructions carefully and efficiently
