The work involves comprehending the various components on the wiring diagrams, selecting the components, doing necessary prep to the components, and testing and troubleshooting the final product. Some mechanical assembly tasks are involved in mounting hardware that holds various components in electronics boxes. Prep of components includes wire selection and measurement, wire stripping, wire crimping, and wire termination. Prep of other components involves soldering connections.
