RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the development and implementation of a business development program of personal sales calls, telephone sales, direct mail, office administration, and public relations within an assigned district
- Participate in customer development activities including face-to-face customer contact to create and develop a good business relationship
- Obtain detailed assignment information from customers to provide effective customer service
- Recruit temporary employees for high-demand skill areas
- Interview applicants using the Performance Selection System (PSS) to evaluate their qualifications for assignments
- Administer the training of temporary employees to upgrade their skills for assignments
- Monitor attendance and performance using the phone and performance surveys
- Resolve the problems or complaints of customers and employees
- Present e-solutions, assessments, and training programs to customers to secure or maintain their business
- Present Direct Hire, On-site, Vendor Management, and Payroll consulting services to appropriate customers
- Maintain customer and employee records to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Complete company reports by logging the week's sales/service activities
- Assist with and direct the activities of other office staff as needed and at the discretion of the District Manager
- All other duties that may arise to ensure the successful operation of the company
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Associates Degree or equivalency in work experience or education required
- 2-4 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in the staffing industry
- Previous experience in sales, human resources, or the service industry is required, successful prior experience as a recruiter is preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to travel to various locations (e.g., customer sites, other company offices) as needed
- Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with others
- Ability to work with other team members as well as independently
- Cooperative, team-oriented, patient, and calm under pressure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to advise, counsel, and guide others (e.g. customers and employees)
- Ability to analyze and evaluate people, data, and things to determine courses of action
- Ability to demonstrate success working in a fast-paced, highly competitive, deadline-oriented environment
