RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Line Lead oversees production line personnel by providing direction and leadership to employees in the most effective and efficient manner
  • Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures
  • Responsible for maintaining company safety environment
  • Demonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines
  • Responsible for effectively ensuring company procedures and policies are being followed
  • Responsible for training line workers in all aspects of production line work
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and performance in leadership of staff
  • Work in conjunction with other departments for positive production results
  • Perform continuous inspection of products every hour or more frequently, depending on if the job is complex or critical in its design or use
  • Keep abreast of the rates of the jobs running on the production line
  • Perform all Warehouse Management System (WMS) functions as they pertain to this job
  • Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements
  • Responsible for reconciliation to ensure accuracy of job ensuring all paperwork is turned in a timely manner
  • Responsible for effectively ensuring company procedures and policies are being followed
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisor Performance Measures and Outcomes


POSITION REQUIREMENTS


  • Education/Certification Level Desired: High school diploma or equivalent Work Experience Desired: Three to six months’ related experience or training in warehouse production
  • Warehouse experience is required; lead experience is a plus
  • Candidates must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment and understand warehouse operations
  • Basic English, able to communicate with supervisors
  • Good computer skills are required, as the position includes computer/admin work
  • Attention to detail and strong people skills are important
  • Adherence to safety policies and procedures
  • Safety sensitive position ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business
  • Ability to work on a rotating shift as needed
  • Ability to effectively work in teams 
  • Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles
  • Understanding of quality standards, methods and reporting as required
  • Ability to plan in advance for production in assigned areas
  • Ability to interpret instructions (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to produce and meet expectations at a high level through your staff 
  • Ability to work with plant management for required results
  • Ability to understand all aspects of the WMS system
  • Ability to perform all computer functions as they pertain to this job
