JOB DETAILS
RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for safe, secure, and accurate filling of customer orders. Replenish or pick product with direction from pick sheets or hand held computer. Obtains merchandise from bins or shelves to fill the order. Primary Duties: Efficiently pick customer orders or shipment insuring the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped. Accurately count product inventory by location. Transport orders to shipping locations utilizing non-powered material handling equipment. Assist in physical inventories. Maintain a clean, neat, orderly, and safe work area. Perform other duties as assigned by management or customer.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS Desirable - High school diploma or equivalent; 0 to 12 months experience in a warehouse setting. Experience: Essential - Ability to operate simple equipment with a non-hydraulic lifting mechanism safely and efficiently (ex: powered pallet jack, two motor etc). Basic familiarity with warehouse procedures and operations. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work specified shift. Ability to read, understand, and follow directions/instructions/work procedures/safety rules, Ability to perform simple math calculations. Ability to identify and locate product which requires reading, counting, and printing. Ability to use automated inventory control equipment. Scanner experience is required. Experience using technology such as computers and scanners.
