RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate and maintain machinery
• Review drawings, instructions, blueprints, and samples
• Identify requirements of output
• Select the appropriate machine and settings for a given task
• Position or load material into the machine
• Properly plan the sequence of actions to complete the project
• Monitor production
• Make necessary adjustments to feed, temperature, and other settings
• Take inventory of finished products
• Perform quality control checks
• Document or discard nonconforming products
• Troubleshoot malfunctions, perform basic maintenance, or request repairs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Comply with health and safety regulations and always wear protective gear

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Apprenticeship or vocational training is a plus
• Experience working with machine tools or mechanical assembly
• Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred but not required
• Basic computer and math skills
• Understanding of necessary tools and equipment
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Excellent communication, organization, and coordination skills
• May need to stand for an extended amount of time
• May engage in bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, and lifting
