Job Details:

• First shift, Monday - Friday
• 7:00 am - 3:00 pm

Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, or monitor plating or coating machines to coat metal or plastic products with metal to protect or decorate surfaces
• Carefully submerge the product in coating solutions or liquid metal or plastic for precise times
• Remove the product and examine the coating for flaws including air bubbles or uneven coverage
• Ensure machinery is in proper working order through testing, troubleshooting, or repairs
• Spray coating in specified patterns according to order instructions
• Adjust settings and controls to ensure conformance to specifications
• Rinse finished products in cleansing liquids and dry them with cloths, centrifugal driers, or by tumbling in sawdust-filled barrels
• Comply with health and safety regulations and always wear protective gear
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Position Requirements:

• Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred but not required
• Follow written and verbal instructions carefully and thoroughly
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Work in a fast-paced environment with precision
• Strong attention to detail
• May need to stand for the majority of shift
• May need to bend, squat, push, pull, and lift
