Job Description:

• Install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment
• Identify maintenance risks on equipment
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems
• Clean, adjust, and repair systems
• Perform warranty services
• Complete emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
• Provide technical direction and on-the-job training
• Keep daily logs and records of all maintenance functions
• Ensure compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act
• Comply with service standards, work instructions, and customer requirements
• Provide excellent customer service and give explanations customers will understand

Position Requirements:

• Experience as an HVAC technician, preferably in commercial
• Understand advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating
• Working knowledge of boiler systems
• Knowledge of tools and equipment needed to perform job functions
• Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in reading blueprints and work plans
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
