Job Details:

• Second shift, Monday - Friday
• 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm
• Pay rate: $17.85

Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor heating equipment
• Read and understand work orders
• Determine project specifications
• Ensure machinery is operational and safe before use
• Regulate furnace controls for temperatures and heating time
• Feed fuel into fireboxes or onto conveyors
• Carefully remove ashes from the furnace
• Monitor the furnace as it melts material to specified temperatures
• Record gauge readings, test results, and production activities
• Inspect product for quality and damages
• Adjust controls to meet specifications
• Transport materials to and from work areas
• Learn basic troubleshooting and perform minor repairs
• Comply with health and safety regulations and always wear protective gear
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Position Requirements:

• Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work in various weather and temperature conditions
• May be required to stand for an extended time
• Engage in bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, and lifting
• Attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Great attendance
• Punctual
