Responsibilities:
- Perform functional and performance testing on electronic products, systems, and components to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with circuit boards and electronic systems.
- Perform repairs on faulty components and systems as needed.
- Design and build custom test fixtures and equipment to improve testing efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide technical support to customers, helping them troubleshoot and resolve product-related issues.
- Maintain detailed records of testing procedures, results, repairs, and any modifications made to electronic systems.
- Work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure products meet quality and performance standards.
- Suggest improvements to testing processes, product designs, and support procedures to increase efficiency and product quality.
Position Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in an electronics manufacturing environment, with hands-on experience in testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic systems.
- Strong understanding of circuit board design, components, and functionality.
- Proficiency in using electronic testing equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators).
- Experience with soldering, reworking, and assembling circuit boards.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience in designing and building test fixtures.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for electronics manufacturing.
- Familiarity with software for testing and debugging (e.g., LabVIEW, MATLAB, or similar).
