Job Details:

• First shift, Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:

• Review menus and worksheets to identify food items, portion sizes, and the number of portions needed for each resident
• Follow dietary orders according to specified meal plans, preferences, and restrictions
• Identify discrepancies between the prescribed diets and the food items designated on the menu. Report discrepancies to a supervisor or dietitian
• Assist with meal preparation
• Brew coffee and other beverages
• Accurately deliver food to residents and visitors either in the dining area or to their room
• Maintain accurate records for each resident and immediately report any changes in a resident’s condition to the appropriate department/personnel
• Assist with clearing, washing, and putting away dishes, glassware, utensils, etc.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables for the next meal
• Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment
• Practice first in/first out rotation for supplies
• Disposes of garbage
• Follow food safety guidelines 

Position Requirements:

• Previous customer service experience is a plus
• Previous experience in the food industry is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail
• Knowledge of food safety is a plus
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to stand for the entire shift
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
