Job Details:

• First shift, Monday - Friday
• 5:00 am - 3:30 pm

Responsibilities:

• Assist painters, paperhangers, plasterers, and masons
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Help with measuring surfaces to be covered
• Examine tools and equipment for safety and functionality
• Install and dismantle scaffolding, temporary equipment, and structures
• Fill in cracks or breaks in surfaces
• Remove old coverings
• Ensure walls are clean and remove any decorations
• Remove outlet and switch covers
• Cover surfaces with cloth or plastic for protection
• Utilize tools and abrasives to smooth surfaces
• Comply with health and safety regulations and always wear protective gear

Position Requirements:

• Ability to stand for an extended time
• Willingness to learn
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
• Attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to work independently and with a team
