Job Details:

• First shift, Monday - Saturday
• 8:00 am - 6:30 pm

Responsibilities:

• Plant flowers and vegetables in industrial, commercial, and retail greenhouses
• Follow guidelines relating to soil depth and composition, germination time, and moisture level
• Manage inventory to ensure greenhouse has soil, fertilizer, and pesticide
• Place supply orders when needed
• Support plant health and growth
• Inspect vegetation for root rot, burning, diseases, and pests
• Harvest or transplant crops
• Apply pesticides if needed
• Unload product from truck and deliver supplies and plants
• Answer any customer questions

Position Requirements:

• Required to stand for long periods
• May involve some repetitive motions
• Engage in frequent bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling
• Some botanical knowledge is preferred
• Strong communication and attention to detail
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions
